About South Zone Hunting
Located in south Texas, near George West, TX, we have offered many types of guided/
semi-guided hunting packages since 2002.
Although most of our hunts are All-inclusive Hunting Packages that include great hunting, excellent meals, and comfortable lodging, we do offer a few “no-frills” hunts as well. If you desire a special hunting package that you don’t see on our webpage, please call or e-mail your request and we’ll try our best to create a package for your group!
What to expect on your hunt…
Over the past two decades, our hunting guests have come to expect excellent service and quality hunts from us! All of our guides are very knowledgeable and provide excellent service! Also, since all of our hunting properties are free-range with lots of quality animals, please don’t expect a “canned hunt” with game trapped within high fences. We have plenty of quality animals because we do not overbook or overshoot our property! Our hunting operation, managed by Jim McNeill, exists today because of his love of the outdoors and our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience a great hunt during their lifetime!
Whether you’re looking for large game hunts (Whitetail deer hunting or wild boar hunting) or small game (dove hunting, quail hunting, upland game bird hunting, or Rio Grande Turkey hunting), South Zone Hunting, LLC will likely have a hunting package that meets or exceeds your expectations!
Where we are located…
All of our hunting properties are located in south TEXAS! Our big game hunting areas are located near George West, TX–approximately 1 hour north of Corpus Christi, TX, or ninety minutes from San Antonio. Most of our bird hunting areas are located in both Jim Wells and Live Oak Counties. Houston travelers should plan for a 3 1/2 hour drive (southwest); San Antonio Hunters should expect a 90-minute drive (southeast). We hope to see you hunting with us soon!
